Postpartum Support

My name is Jayde, I have many important roles as a mother of 2 beautiful boys, an early childhood educator, and a postnatal doula. 

When my first son came along it was really hard, I had little family support, I lived in a small town with a partner that worked long hours. My whole life had changed in every aspect. I really struggled. It was quite a shock finding out I was expecting baby number 2 only 6 months into my journey of motherhood. I carried so much guilt. This is supposed to be the most wonderful time of my life, right? why am I struggling so much? 

I often reached out for help, but found there is such a lack of support in this specific area, and the limited recourses we did have, were all exhausted. since learning these are common issues in our community I have become passionate about filling that gap and making sure women feel supported and cared for and have the capacity and capability to enjoy all of the beautiful things that come with motherhood. You are not alone.
